Our History
A testament to God's faithfulness through the years
Foundation (1986)
In August 1986, Rev. Francita P. Ucat founded the Christ Life Prayer Ministry, Inc. with a small group of dedicated individuals united in prayer. This humble beginning flourished, and by December 1997, we officially registered as a ministry (SEC Reg. No. A1997-218931).
Leadership Transition (2007)
In 2007, Rev. Ucat appointed Ptr. Tito "Jun" Feolino and Ptr. Eira Feolino as Senior Pastors in Bacoor. They began their ministry at 51 Narra St., Villa Esperanza Phase 2, Molino 2, Bacoor City, Cavite, alongside their two children, Jericho and Jirehl. Under their leadership, our church family grew stronger and made a meaningful impact in the community.
A Time of Loss (2022)
On December 4, 2022, Ptr. Tito "Jun" Feolino tragically passed away following an accident. His sudden loss was deeply felt by the congregation and the community he served so faithfully. In this challenging time, God provided strength through the next generation. Ptr. Jericho Feolino stepped up to serve as Special Assistant to the Senior Pastor, ensuring continuity in leadership and honoring his father's legacy.
A Journey of Faith
As we reflect on our journey, we see it as a testament to God's faithfulness even in difficult times. Our growth is not solely by our own efforts but through His grace. Looking ahead, we are filled with hope and excitement for what God has yet to accomplish in our lives and ministry.
Our Core Values
The foundational principles that guide our faith and actions
Being God's Image
We reflect God's image as His representatives on earth, carrying His authority with wisdom, creativity, and care in how we steward His creation and relate to others.
Bearing God's Name
We carry God's name with reverence, living in ways that display His character and honor His reputation among all peoples and nations.
Becoming God's Family
We belong to God's family through adoption, embracing authentic community life as we support, encourage, and grow together in Christ.
Breathing God's Word
We live by God's Word, letting Scripture guide our beliefs and actions as we seek to understand and apply its truth in our daily lives.
Believing-Loyalty to God's Begotten Son
We pledge our complete loyalty to Jesus Christ, God's Son, following His leadership and trusting in His saving work for our redemption.
Building God's Kingdom
We advance God's kingdom by making disciples, sharing the gospel, and serving others with Christ's love in our communities.
Bringing God's Glory
We exist to glorify God, dedicating every aspect of our lives - work, relationships, and worship - to showcase His excellence and worth.
What We Believe
At our core, we embrace the historic Christian faith, made simple and accessible for everyone. Because following Jesus should be clear, not complicated.
God
There's one God who exists in three persons: Father, Son (Jesus), and Holy Spirit. He created everything, loves everyone, and invites all people into relationship with Him.
[Genesis 1:1; Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 3:16-17; John 3:16-17; 2 Corinthians 13:14]
Jesus Christ
Jesus is God who became human. He lived the perfect life we couldn't live, died the death we deserved, and rose again to prove He was who He said He was. Through His life, death, and resurrection, He made a way back to God for everyone.
[John 1:14; Colossians 1:15-20; Philippians 2:5-11; 1 Corinthians 15:3-8; Romans 5:8]
Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is God's presence in our lives from the moment we trust Jesus. He's not weird or scary – He's our helper who transforms us from the inside out, producing the kind of life we've always wanted but couldn't achieve on our own.
[John 14:16-17; Galatians 5:22-23; Romans 8:26; Acts 1:8; Ephesians 1:13-14]
Humanity
Every person matters to God. Period. We're all created in God's image with incredible value, but we're also all broken by sin. The good news? God loves us anyway and has a plan to restore us.
[Genesis 1:27; Psalm 139:13-16; Romans 3:23; 1 John 4:9-10; 2 Corinthians 5:17-18]
Salvation
Salvation is God's gift to us, not something we earn. It's as simple as trust: we trust what Jesus did for us rather than what we can do for ourselves. This brings forgiveness for our past, purpose for our present, and hope for our future.
[Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 6:23; John 3:16-17; Titus 3:4-7; 2 Corinthians 5:21]
The Bible
The Bible is God's story of love for the world. Written over centuries by various authors inspired by God, it shows us who God is and how to live life His way. It's truthful, practical, and still relevant today.
[2 Timothy 3:16-17; Psalm 119:105; Hebrews 4:12; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Joshua 1:8]
The Return of Jesus
Jesus promised He would return to make everything right. While we don't know when, we live with hope and purpose, inviting others to be ready for that day by following Jesus now.
[Acts 1:11; Matthew 24:36; Revelation 21:1-5; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Titus 2:11-14]
While we respect various Christian traditions, we are simply focused on following Jesus Christ, who said "I am the way, the truth, and the life" (John 14:6). The church does not belong to any denomination.
